Ingredients

(Serves 1-2)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk for a richer texture)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1 teaspoon freshly grated turmeric)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (or 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger)

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for natural sweetness)

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or ghee (for better absorption of turmeric’s benefits)

  • 1 pinch black pepper (enhances curcumin absorption in turmeric)

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Maca powder (optional, for energy and hormone balance)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the almond (or coconut) milk, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.

  2. Whisk in the Spices: Add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, vanilla extract, and coconut oil/ghee.

Whisk well to combine and let it simmer (not boil) for 5 minutes to infuse the flavours.

  3. Sweeten & Blend (Optional): Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup (if using).

For an ultra-creamy texture, blend the mixture for 30 seconds using an immersion blender or a high-speed blender.

  4. Serve & Enjoy: Pour into a mug, sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon, and enjoy warm!
